Indeed over 25% of our current contract business comprises schools and other educational establishments – so much so that we are trusted key holders for many, many schools across the South of England.

Bespoke play equipment and learning areas

Some of our most popular requests are for outdoor classrooms and inspiring learning areas like raised vegetable and flower plots that can stimulate a child’s creativity and promote ‘green’ awareness.

We’re also experts at installing bespoke seating, play frames and fencing. In fact whatever you feel is needed to transform your grounds into the best possible environment for work and play, we can create it. And of course it goes without saying that everything we do meets all the relevant safety requirements.

Grounds maintenance and landscaping

Many schools also take advantage of our grounds maintenance services whether on an occasional basis or as part of a regular contract. We also offer a comprehensive landscaping service aimed at creating safe, attractive and inspiring environments that teachers, pupils and parents can be proud of.

Strict protocols

Avium takes its responsibilities to schools very seriously and we operate extremely strict protocols when it comes to working on kindergarten, school and college premises. We place meticulous importance on safety, not simply by ensuring that all our staff are advanced DBS-checked but by insisting that all work is carried out in the safest possible manner at all times. Reassuringly, we have an exceptional safety record with zero accidents in 16 years of working within the educational sector.

As an extra layer of safety, any landscaping or installation work is carried out during school holidays to minimise disruption and risk. We are also careful to schedule maintenance at times when your outdoor areas are not in use. Also, in order that you’re aware of which of our staff are working on your premises and when, we will always announce our arrival at reception.
