legislation. Each member of the team is equipped with PSE (personal safety equipment)
and is fully trained in the use of equipment and chemicals.

Avium uses the safest biodegradable pesticides, meaning any work carried out on your
grounds poses no risk to people, children or wildlife.
The company is licensed by the National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC) for the use
of pesticides. Avium's operatives also hold a PA6AW certificate, allowing the spraying
of weed killers near waterways, or sites of special scientific interest. This ensures
any chemicals used on your site are handled safely. In addition, the Avium crew issues
you with a 'Maintenance Visit Record' after each visit, to comply with your Health
and Safety standards. This includes details of any pesticides and herbicides used.

Avium's policy is to recycle all green waste from your site. Tree and shrub prunings
can be shredded onsite, and used to mulch beds and shrubberies. Any green waste which
cannot be recycled on site is removed for composting.
